To help their customers and users? To see how their products are being used? To get input from the community on what could be improved? To read what isn’t so great? There are plenty of reasons, and one shouldn’t forget that Aqara is a large company with many different channels and markets. Similar to the automotive industry, unfortunately, due to regulations, cost/benefit factor requirements, and other factors, there are products that can’t be placed in every market. Sometimes it’s simply better to say nothing so as not to offend potential customers.
Aqara went out of their way to move people here, posting in the FB group and on Reddit, and now there is a direct link in the app here. All this for what? An Aqara bot that Googles things for people and an official representative that can’t confirm or deny. That might be ok for some I guess.
