I would like to start a chat about quirks that I have discovered with the U400 and hopefully Aqara will see these and be able to address them in the future.
UWB unlocking the door when I have the door open. Sometimes I let my cats on the front porch and leave the door open, the U400 will auto lock it after a few minutes, then anytime I walk by the door it unlocks, then re-locks after a few minutes. A setting to not auto lock or unlock if the door is open would be nice.
Having guest UWB settings. I haven’t figured out in HomeKit or in the Aqara app how to give a guest with an Apple Watch or iPhone UWB access to the lock. My mom was in town last week and I couldn’t give her that access without adding her to the home in HomeKit. I don’t want her having access to cameras and all that while she is here so that is not a good workaround. Guest UWB access would be great!
Yesterday the UWB wasn’t working at all, I restarted my watch and made sure that express unlock was enabled as well as unlock on approach. Nothing worked. Today it is working again, maybe the software update fixed it?
