I’ve been really excited about the new Aqara W600 Radiator Thermostat and thought I’d share my experience after setting it up in my home. The device promises to bring smart heating control to traditional radiators, and I must say, it’s exceeded my expectations so far. Aqara W600 Review
One of the standout features for me is the temperature control precision. Being able to adjust the temperature in 0.5ºC increments gives a level of customization I haven’t experienced with other thermostats. Pairing it with the Aqara Climate Sensor W100 has also been a game-changer for accuracy, especially in rooms with varying heat distribution.
The integration with Thread and Zigbee has been seamless. I’m using it alongside my existing smart home ecosystem, and it works flawlessly with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Alexa. The fact that it can operate in both Thread mode for Matter compatibility and Zigbee mode for deeper integration with the Aqara ecosystem is a huge plus.
Energy efficiency is another area where the W600 shines. The ability to schedule temperature changes for different rooms and pause heating when rooms are unoccupied has already made a noticeable difference in my energy bills. It’s also great to see features like geofencing and occupancy detection working smoothly to preheat the house as I arrive home.
I’m particularly impressed by the silent operation of the thermostat, which runs at below 30dB. It’s barely noticeable even in quiet rooms, which is a big plus for bedrooms or living areas.
For anyone looking to upgrade their heating system without replacing their existing radiators, I highly recommend the Aqara W600. It’s a well-rounded product that balances smart functionality with energy efficiency and compatibility.
If you’ve had a chance to try it out, I’d love to hear your thoughts or any tips you have for maximizing its features!
