My wishes for 2026:

  • Better German Translation in the Aqara App
  • An photoelectric beam with Thread support for better automations
  • New EU-Smartlocks with Apple HomeKey
  • An Relais Switch with Thread support
  • An Water Valve with Thread support like the Eve Water
  • digital Doorbell viewer (like an Display to show all cameras, when the camera detect motion)
  • An Update for Motion Sensors, that they expose the Light Level (lux) to Apple Home

Speaking about light sensors: I’d really love them to be more sensitive. They are currently unfortunately unable to distinguish different levels of darkness.

yeah that’s true. I had some months ago, an Qingping Motion Sensor, which also had an included Light Sensor exposing to Apple Home. When the Aqara shows 60 lux the other shows a really bigger number.
