Aqare T1M - Copy Custom Dynamic Effects to another T1M

I have several T1M lights in my house, 5 to be exact.
I loved how much light they put out and really liked the idea of having nightlights in the side ring I could automate through Home Assistant.

I like many was a bit disappointed to find out that the effects were not available through Matter in Home Assistant, so I resigned myself to using the “Galaxy” effect, which is my favorite, until I could find a work around.
Well after Aqara announced the ability to share scenes over Matter, I have been getting things setup and imported. This is where I ran into a very confusing issue, that I cant even find people discussing online.
How to copy a custom built dynamic effect from one device to another.

Usually when I cant find anyone talking about an issue, my first through is that I am overlooking something simple. But I have looked all over the Aqara app and can not find a way to do it. Doing so made me notice several other very obvious omissions in the app that seem like they should be addressed.

  1. I have the ability to copy a custom dynamic lighting effect, but once copied I have no way to change it to a different device. The copy only serves as a template to build from.

  2. When creating a scene, I can make a copy of the scene, and quickly change the effect or other settings, but I can not change the device itself that is associated with the scene. This is no big deal when its just a single light or single effect, but if you are building out a complex scene with multiple devices and effects, having the ability to clone it and change the devices being controlled by the scene is would make creating these things much easier.

Am I just missing something obvious or do these options simply not exist at present.

Thank you for your love and support for the Aqara T1M, and we truly appreciate the time you took to provide us with such detailed suggestions!

In the Aqara Home app, you can create light groups to uniformly adjust basic settings such as color, color temperature, brightness, and on/off for multiple lights. Regarding the “custom dynamic lighting effect sharing across devices” feature you mentioned, this is indeed not currently supported. We fully understand the value of this functionality, especially in multi-device coordination scenarios. This is a great idea, and we will evaluate and discuss it within our team, incorporating it into future improvement plans.
