I’ve been working on automating my greenhouse for the past year, and I’m thrilled to share my journey! 
My setup started with basic dinrail components, but I recently switched to using Home Assistant with the Node-Red add-on. It’s been a game-changer! 
I’ve integrated everything from temperature and humidity sensors to automated shades and watering systems.
One of the biggest challenges was getting all the devices to communicate seamlessly. I had to experiment with different integrations and custom scripts, but the result has been worth it. Now, I can monitor and control my greenhouse from anywhere, which is especially handy during those early morning checks. 
I’ve also been working on a custom dashboard in Home Assistant. While it’s still a work in progress, it’s already provided me with invaluable insights into my plants’ conditions.
