B50 lock is timing out

“Aqara B50 smart lock stuck requesting admin password to reset. Correct password entered but reset times out. Hardware reset does not clear binding.”

This is the message that I got I installed the lock and it started telling me mechanism failing engage or something like that. So after it not responding, I take this out and deleted the device to try to reinstall it. It keeps telling me that it times out when I put in the correct six digit password can anybody please help cause I’m just about take this out and go buy something else, I love all my other Aqara devices, I have 20 something others but this one has me puzzled

Did you press the ✓ button after entering the password? If not, it will indeed announce a timeout. if you really can’t use it,please connect aftersales to change a new one.

Try disabling the device removal protection feature in the gateway and then re-adding the B50.
Also reload the gateway.
