Hello everyone, I’m reaching out today with a bit of a puzzle regarding my Bali Motorized Shades. I recently had to delete and reinstall one of my shades due to it malfunctioning. It’s a Z-Wave device connected through my SmartThings hub, and while the other shades are working perfectly and can be controlled via both the SmartThings app and Alexa, this particular one has given me quite a headache.
After reinstalling, I noticed that the shade only responds to the SmartThings app at 1% and 3%, which is quite unusual. It looks like I might need the remotes that came with it, but I don’t have them anymore. I’m puzzled because I’ve never used remotes before with these shades—they’ve always been app-controlled.
I’ve tried troubleshooting, including resetting the shade and ensuring all connections are secure. The shade is definitely linked with SmartThings since I can move it slightly from 1% to 3%, but that’s it. I’m hoping someone in the community might have encountered a similar issue or knows of a workaround. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
