Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and I wanted to share my experience with installing the Bauform Funkschalter HM-LC-SW1 alongside my existing FS20 SU-3 units. While the functionality is great, I had a bit of trouble figuring out the best way to integrate them without damaging my walls.
Initially, I tried replacing a traditional light switch with one of the actuators, but the mechanics left a noticeable hole in the wall. Removing the switch entirely allowed me to install the actor, but then I was left without a manual switch and couldn’t attach the cover properly. After some research, I decided to drill an additional hole in the wall for the switch, which worked perfectly!
I wanted to share this solution in case anyone else is dealing with the same issue. It’s all about finding that balance between modern smart home tech and maintaining the aesthetics of your space. If you have any other tips or tricks for integrating these devices smoothly, I’d love to hear them!
Cheers,
A fellow smart home enthusiast
