I have horizontal blinds with tilt wands and use Apple Home on an iPhone. For anyone automating blinds with Aqara, do you prefer schedules or light-sensor automations for tilting the slats? Curious what has worked well.
I actually use both. Open/close based on sunrise/sunset, and in the afternoons one based on light level because the sun streams in through the window onto the TV at certain times of the year.
Other than that, my preferences don’t change based on sunny vs cloudy, home vs away, etc. But it’s nice to have that flexibility based on one’s needs.

Thanks Steve, that’s really helpful. Combining sunrise/sunset with a light-level automation for the afternoon glare makes a lot of sense, so I’ll try that setup for my tilt blinds.
