Hi everyone! I’m trying to set up my Blink Camera system to work seamlessly with my Home Assistant dashboard. I came across a feature I’d really like to implement but I’m not sure how to go about it. Here’s what I’m aiming for:
-
Master Arm/Disarm Toggle Switch: I want a single toggle switch on my dashboard that can arm or disarm the entire Blink system. This would be really handy for quickly enabling or disabling all cameras at once.
-
Individual Camera Motion Sense Toggle Switches: In addition to the master switch, I’d love to have individual toggle switches for each camera. This way, I can arm or disarm specific cameras without affecting the others. For example, if I’m in the backyard, I might want to disable the front door camera temporarily.
I’ve looked into similar setups with my Lutron-Caseta system, where I can toggle all lights or individual lights from the dashboard. I’m hoping there’s a way to achieve something similar with my Blink cameras.
I’ve tried searching the forums and documentation, but I haven’t found a clear solution yet. I’m wondering if this functionality can be built into Home Assistant or if there’s a workaround I can use. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
