Hi everyone, I’m new to the Blink security system and I’m looking for some advice. We’re in the process of upgrading our home security and are considering Blink for our two-family home. The setup includes a main house and an attached ADU (In-Law unit).
My goal is to create two separate systems within the same Blink account—one for the main house and one for the ADU. This way, we can arm and disarm each system independently. I have a wired flood-light camera and an XR sync module, but I’m not entirely sure how to set this up.
From what I understand, Blink allows for multiple systems, but I’m not sure if that means creating entirely separate networks or just grouping cameras within the same system. I’d appreciate any tips or experiences from others who’ve done something similar.
Also, I’m curious about how notifications work in such a setup. Would arming one system affect the other? I want to ensure that alerts are only sent when the relevant side of the house is disarmed.
