I’ve been using the Blitzwolf SHP-15 smart plug to monitor my TV’s power usage, and it worked perfectly for quite some time. However, recently I’ve noticed some strange behavior. After turning off the TV, the reported power consumption starts fluctuating, which is causing my associated binary sensor in Home Assistant to toggle between ‘on’ and ‘off’. This, in turn, triggers various actions like light dimming and blind adjustments, which is quite annoying.
The fluctuation seems to occur every 5 minutes, which aligns with the configured read interval and maximum reporting time set in the DDF. The DDF already defaults the state/power to 0, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve observed this behavior sporadically, but it’s becoming more frequent.
I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered similar issues or has any suggestions on how to resolve this. Could it be a firmware problem, or perhaps some interference affecting the power readings? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
