Bluetooth Signal Issues with Outdoor Lighting

Bluetooth technology has become a staple in our smart home setups, offering seamless control over devices without the need for physical buttons. However, I’ve encountered a puzzling issue with my outdoor lighting setup that I’d love to get some advice on.

I recently installed a pair of permanent outdoor lights, each positioned 150 feet away from my home. While these lights work perfectly when I’m inside, I’ve noticed a significant drop in Bluetooth signal strength as soon as I step outside. This makes controlling the lights a bit of a hassle, especially when I’m trying to adjust them from a distance.

I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps, like repositioning the lights and ensuring there are no physical obstructions in the line of sight. I’ve also considered upgrading to a higher-quality Bluetooth module, but I’m not sure if that would solve the issue entirely. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Bluetooth signal degradation outdoors? I’d love to hear if there are any creative solutions or workarounds that have worked for you!

If there’s a way to boost the signal or perhaps integrate a different control method for these outdoor lights, I’d be more than happy to explore it. I’m really hoping to find a reliable solution that keeps my outdoor lighting system functioning smoothly, no matter where I am in the yard.

Thanks in advance for any tips or insights you can share! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other overcome these smart home challenges.
