Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the new Hive app and how I managed to figure out the heating boost feature. At first, I was a bit confused because the interface looked different from the old app. I kept adjusting the settings in the thermostat, but I couldn’t seem to activate the boost mode. The same issue happened with my warm-up mat, which was frustrating because I really needed that extra warmth during the colder months.
After some research and trial and error, I discovered that the boost feature is actually located in the thermostat settings, not the main heating controls. By going into the specific thermostat settings, I could adjust both the boost temperature and duration. It was a bit hidden, but once I found it, it worked perfectly!
I also wanted to mention that I reached out to Hive support, and they were really helpful. They walked me through the process step by step, which was a huge relief. Now, I can easily boost my heating whenever I need it, and my warm-up mat works like a charm too.
