Bridge/Hub Device Limit

I have integrated several Hubs/bridges into Aqara…Hue/Ikea etc via matter but what I am seeing is that the device limit is 30 per bridge …/so 30 hue bulbs…30 ikea plugs. Is this a known limitation that I missed?

How many zigbee do you have on this hub? The 120 limita device also apply on matter device and scene.

So I have 3 primary M3/M2 hubs with 11 camera hubs. I have 1 M3 hub whose job it is to handle all matter related processes and is the leader for Aqara cluster. The leader has no sub devices. Total number of devices is about 360.

I have 5 matter hubs along with other Eve thread plugs and contact sensors and Nanoleaf bulbs attached to master M3 but each hub seems to be limited to 30 devices.

The Zigbee and Thread devices connected to the Hub M3 have no restrictions. Could you please specify exactly what you mean by “limit”? is there any pop up when you trying to add the 361st devices?

No I think you are misunderstanding. The limit seems to be at a BRIDGE/HUB level….so HUE hub or IKEA hub. It declares 30 sub devices on each hub no more.

I integrated the IKEA Dirigera Hub via Matter, and I noticed that the IKEA remote controls and switches/sensors aren’t counted in this menu. The Parasoll (door/window contact), air purifier, and a few Vindstryka devices aren’t counted in this menu, even though these devices are listed as positive in the app and can be used.

Hi , perhaps this is due to limitations of the Hue bridge itself but not the M3 hub

At first I thought that but my Ikea bridge is the same as well.

There is an option to check this, have you tried adding hue and ikea hub as a matter bridge in HK?
How many devices do they add to HK?

Yes I have tested my IKea hub in both HK and HA. In both cases 34 devices are correctly reporting to HK and HA but not Aqara.

Maybe someone from @aqarateam can help you understand if there is a limitation for the connected matter bridge in aqara home.

@darren PLEASE CHECK IN THE OVERALL VIEW IF ALL OF YOUR DEVICECES ARE IMPORTET !

I think that this is a limitation IN THIS SUBMENUE, because i have OVER 30 IKEA Devices importet and in this Submenue there are only shown 30, mainly bulbs. But my Sensors,purifier and remotes are also positive importet BUT NOT COUNTED in this Menue.

If everthing works…ignore it :wink:
