Bug (?) when using Aqara app U400 auto-lock feature

I have been using the auto lock feature in Apple Home App. Then I found out the Aqara app has more advanced auto lock feature so I switched to that. However, when the Aqara app auto lock is enabled, the lock icon on the physical lock display will NOT show up when the door is closed. It requires an extra press on the display to bring up the lock icon to be pressed. This problem was not there when I used the Home app auto lock. Is this a bug? Or is that another setting in the Aqara app that allows the lock icon to still be shown while auto lock is enabled? Please help.

(Edit: forgot to mention i am using v3104, no beta firmware)
