I’ve been closely monitoring humidity levels in my home using two ADC-T3000 thermostats and several standalone hygrometers. It’s been a fascinating experience, but recently, one of the thermostats started giving inconsistent readings. While all other devices showed around 56%, the thermostat reported 62%, triggering unnecessary alerts. This inconsistency was puzzling, especially since the nearby hygrometers seemed accurate. After some research, I concluded that the thermostat’s internal hygrometer might be faulty. I attempted to disable the humidity alert rule to prevent the A/C from turning on unnecessarily. However, I couldn’t find any calibration settings in the ADC Advanced Configuration page, which was disappointing. I’m wondering if there’s a workaround or a hidden feature I haven’t discovered yet. This experience has made me more cautious about relying solely on a single device for humidity monitoring. It’s a good reminder to cross-check readings, especially when automating home systems. I’d appreciate any insights or tips from the community on how to resolve this issue or improve the accuracy of my setup.
