Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Cam Pan V2 and its waypoint functionality. I’ve been trying to set it up to monitor some raccoons in my attic, and while the waypoints seem like the perfect solution, I’ve run into an interesting issue.
I set up four waypoint positions to cover the areas where the raccoons come and go. After a few hours, I was flooded with notifications and 13-second videos. It turns out every time the camera moved to the next waypoint, it detected motion and triggered a new alert. I couldn’t find any controls or delays to prevent this from happening.
Has anyone else encountered this? I’m sure there must be a simple fix or a setting I missed. I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully used waypoints without running into this motion detection issue. Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
