Camera G5 Pro and saving to NAS

Is there any way to save longer clips on local NAS (15-30 minutes). Now those clips are 1 minute long and after 24h there are to many of them

@pika26 Hello Peter,

Thank you for reaching out with your question about saving longer clips to a local NAS with your Camera G5 Pro. Based on the reference information available, it seems that currently, there isn’t an option to adjust the length of the video clips being uploaded to a NAS; they are typically saved in shorter segments.

While this might not be the ideal solution you’re looking for, it could be helpful to organize your NAS files by date and time, as this is how they are named. This might make it easier to manage a large number of clips.

I understand that this may not fully meet your needs, and I encourage you to share more about your experience and any potential workarounds you might discover. The community’s input can often lead to innovative solutions!

@pika26 Currently, there are no options to choose the length of videos to upload to NAS . If you’re finding the 1-minute clips too numerous, you could consider checking if your camera’s recording settings (such as motion detection sensitivity or activity zones) can be adjusted to reduce the number of clips, though this doesn’t change the clip length itself. It might also help to regularly back up and archive NAS footage to manage storage.
