The camera hub G3 privacy mode exposes 2 flaw: 1. It exposes the SD card, so people may take it out, 2. It hide the IR sensor so IR blaster not working as expected (my TCL TV work, but my Aircon won’t). Pls fix it.

Indeed but how could they fix it?. It’s like that by design. I cannot see any possible solution in this model.

So you bought a camera whose main selling point is “I physically roll backward into a solid shell to guarantee privacy”, and now you are upset that it actually rolls backward into a solid shell? If you want it to blast IR while “blind”, just put a piece of black electrical tape over the lens. Boom, $0 privacy mode with working IR.
