Camera Hub G5 Pro (Wi-Fi) - Lingerer Detection feature missing Detection Region

I am super newbie in IoT.
After watching some of reviewer, I decided to try Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro (Wi-Fi version) with 32GB eMMC built-in storage.

Here’s the detail version I used:
Android apps V6.1.2 (installed on Samsung S25 Ultra)
Region: Malaysia
Current firmware version: 4.5.20_0004.0017
Current Algorithm version: 2.4.3

I am super interested with AI Detection feature, especially Lingerer Detection.
1 thing makes me disappointed is lack of “Detection Region” in Lingerer Detection.

We can custom this “Detection Region” in:
*** Person Detection**
*** Face Detection**
*** Animal Detection**
*** Vehicle Detection**
*** Package Detection**
*** Motion Detection**

But why you exclude it in Lingerer Detection?
Without it, I can’t fine tune specific area I want to to focus.
Unbelievable.
hope you guys can update to make it available.
(hope you guys also release expandable storage by MicroSD)

Regarding the expandable storage query, the G5 Pro uses a built-in eMMC storage chip (which helps with waterproof performance) and doesn’t natively support MicroSD cards. However, Aqara is actively working on adding 24/7 storage functionality for NAS, which will be available in an upcoming firmware update.

As for the missing “Detection Region” option in Lingerer Detection, I understand how useful that customization would be for fine-tuning specific areas. Since this feature isn’t covered in the current available information, you can contact customer support to share your suggestion—they’ll be happy to take it into account.
