Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I thought I’d share some of my experiences and tips. First off, integrating IP cameras into my Lovelace dashboard has been a fantastic addition. I managed to set up the stream component without too much hassle, but I was initially puzzled about how to get the image card to auto-refresh. After some research, I found out that adding a still image URL alongside the stream component did the trick! It’s now seamlessly updating, which is super handy for monitoring without constant video streaming.
On another note, I’ve been working with KNX dimmers, which have been a bit of a learning curve. I stumbled upon some configuration issues with my dimmers, but after some trial and error, I realized it was all about getting the GA addresses just right. It’s amazing how a small tweak can make such a difference in functionality.
I’d love to hear from others who’ve tackled similar projects or have tips to share. Whether it’s camera setups, KNX configurations, or any other smart home hacks, let’s keep the conversation flowing! ![]()
