I recently purchased the U200 through marketplace (I guess that was my first mistake). When I got home, I powered on the keypad and it started flashing red and emitting an alarm sound. I learned that it’s an antitheft feature and that I need the admin’s PIN to stop it and factory reset the lock. So I try messaging the seller to get that PIN and it’s radio silence from that guy. Did I really get scammed? Is there no way to factory reset the lock without the PIN? Thanks for the help

Hello @bkjysjz77m
Unfortunately, the administrator code cannot be reset; you need to contact the seller to find out the code or return the lock to them.
Or you need his fingerprint it’s also possible
to reset it then…
Yup, today I was resetting my U200, because somehow the app didn’t want me to recalibrate (it didn’t go to step 2, it was stuck on step 1), and you reset the lock by holding the
and
buttons. Then it tells you to scan the fingerprint of the admin.
Previous owner might have just forgotten that (or didn’t know that it required previous admin to reset). So @bkjysjz77m, you need to contact the previous seller. Optionally, I think that Aqara support can help you, but please try asking the previous owner first.
My mind went to a dark place quickly after reading your reply :).
Haha, well… Just showed off all possibilities ![]()
