I have had a Camera Hub G5 Pro for a few months and I absolutely love it, but I have since day 1 had an issue with viewing the camera in the Google Home app. I am primarily an Apple Home user but there are members of my household who are Android users, and I know they would like to be able to access the camera feed directly through the GH app.
I can view the camera feed with no issue on my Nest Hub (2nd Gen) but for whatever reason the camera feed states “Live video unavailable. The camera may be unreachable or saving battery”
Please Help!

Google Home App(GHA)currently does not support third-party camera access (via webRTC) other than Nest, and only allows third-party camera videos to be displayed on the Nest Hub screen. Aqara and the Google team are in technical communication, and in November of last year, Google replied to Aqara that they currently do not plan to officially support “webRTC streaming” on GHA (I provided screenshots of their email communication, and to protect privacy, I hid their email). This also means that most third-party cameras cannot directly view videos on GHA, which I believe depends on Google’s plan.

I experience the same.
But I don’t get it. G4 worked mostly. E1 works. Why can’t G410 work?

@rabbenseren You seem to be experiencing an issue where the G410 isn’t working in the Google Home app while G4 and E1 work. You can contact customer support for assistance.

Yea I have the same issue, but mine is actually even stranger. Within the google home apple on iOS my Aqara cameras do not work but on my google nest hub I can see my cameras.
