How good would it be if Aqara made a ceiling fan.
Just imagine,
tempSet=22
if roomTemp >= tempSet:
ceilingFan = True
else:
ceilingFan = False
- Would you buy this if Aqara made a ceiling fan range?
- Yes
- No

I think that’s a good idea, especially if the ceiling fan had additional features like those of the T1M ceiling light.
Alternatively, you could build something like that yourself.
You could attach either an Aqara Single Switch Module T1 or a Dual Relay Module T2 to the ceiling fan’s wiring.
I’ve attached a T1 directly to each of my two ceiling lights, which allows me to turn them on and off separately, as the original switch always turns both lights on and off at the same time. You just need to check whether the relay will fit inside the cable cover of the ceiling light or fan. Of course, nobody is allowed to operate the physical switches; they just have to remain in the “on” position. Alternatively, you could replace the physical switches with Aqara H1 or H2 switches, which would solve the problem.
Then all you need is an Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor to create an automation that does exactly what you suggested.
Well I personally would have throw another cable for the second light directly on the switch box and place an double switch instead of that relay also is less expensive.i had my patio light switch both was turning on/off in the same time so I had just to add another cable from one of the light to the switch box and I added an double smart switch.was much easy to do then place an relay and many houses or ceiling lamps have that kind of space to insert an relay.
I also mentioned some devices I want to see from Aqara on that thread regarding “of what devices you would like to see on 2026” I think was the thread.i mention an ceiling fan, air purifier, normal fan, dehumidifier (witch many ppl on EU more from Spain will love to have compatible with HomeKit) and an intercom with bidirectional audio something like Amazon ring intercom.
I rent my place. Unfortunately, I can’t make any major changes or run cables ![]()
Me too but I live here for 8 years on this apartment an I always can undo what I did
A smart fan is nice … but would love to see more a smart Matter AC! But that won’t happen … or Aqara could do any Cooperation with an AC brand
And why do you need that since M3 handle AC very well I am using my Bosh AC like that and works perfectly and I can also make automations so not sure how an AC for matter would be better?not to mention the cost that will have too ![]()

I don’t like to have in every room a hub like M3 to control it. But maybe if there’s an IR blaster available once, it will make the job. Is the Bosch with IR or one with Matter?
Is just IR and is not an smart one ether more is not even WiFi.i also have my w100 as thermostat witch in the end Aqara add it to show the temp on HomeKit without the need to add an normal temp sensor like T1 so for me is an big win and the truth is that there are not many AC compatible with HomeKit same are fans too just a few I saw like the one switchbot launched this year but it needs an switchbot hub to be added to HomeKit and I saw the Dreo Fan witch is way to expensive for an fan ![]()

.my bet is that you get better adding an M200 or M3 instead of changing each AC if Dreo Fan compatible with HomeKit cost on amazon around 216 euros and is an fan not AC ![]()
