Since I am switching to a different email provider, I need to update my email address for this account, but I can’t find an option to do so.
I would appreciate any advice.

Hello.
Your forum account is your Aqara account.
Go to:
Aqara Home App → Profile → Your account name at the top → Email

Thanks for your hint. Followed your instructions to update my email address using the Aqara Home app, which worked like a charm.
Next I logged out from the Aqara forum, cleared browser cache and cookies. Afterwards I restarted the web browser and logged in using my updated email, which also worked. But a quick look into my the account tab under preferences still shows my old email address 
Have you logged in to the forum using your new email address? Were the confirmation codes sent to this address?
If so, the only remaining question is whether notifications from the forum are being sent to the new address.
If so, it may just be a display error. Not only are there browser caches, but there are also CDN caches and database queries that are cached on the server side. It may just need a few hours.
If nothing changes, then just write to support.

Yes, I used the new email address to login to the forum and the confirmation codes were sent to my new email address.
I neither received a notification email for your last forum post on my old nor on my new email. Before updating my email address I was able to receive forum notifications.
Will re-check in about 24h and if the old address is still shown in my account settings I’ll contact Aqara support.
