Hi everyone, I’m a first-time buyer looking into video doorbells that work seamlessly with HomeKit and HKSV. After doing some research, I’ve narrowed it down to the Aqara G4 and the newer G410. I’ve seen a lot of discussions where people say the upgrade from G4 to G410 isn’t worth it, but since I’m starting fresh, I’m wondering if the G410 is worth the extra money or if the G4 is still the better value.
My main concern is future-proofing. I don’t want to end up with older technology that might not receive updates or support as long as the newer model would. On the other hand, if the improvements in the G410 are minimal and the G4 is still reliable and solid, I’d rather save some money. I’m also curious about the differences in features, performance, and user experience between the two models.
