I’ve been looking into upgrading my home security setup and came across two TP-Link cameras that caught my interest: the Tapo C510W and the VIGI C540-W. While the Tapo C510W seems like a solid choice with its features and price point, I stumbled upon the VIGI C540-W, which TP-Link markets as a professional-grade model. It’s a bit pricier, but I’m curious to know if the extra cost is justified.
Has anyone here had experience with either of these cameras? I’d love to hear about your experiences with video quality, ease of integration with home automation systems, and overall performance. I’m particularly interested in how well they work with popular smart home ecosystems.
Additionally, I’m wondering if the VIGI C540-W offers any significant advantages over the Tapo C510W that would make it worth the investment. I’m also open to suggestions for other brands if they meet the basic requirements I’m looking for.
