Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of home automation and recently got my hands on the Ambient Weather Station (Falcon WS-8480) with remote sensors. It’s been a fantastic addition to my setup, but I’ve hit a bit of a snag that I’m hoping you all can help me with.
So, the weather station itself is located in my living room, and I’ve assigned it to that area in Home Assistant. This works perfectly for the main display, but here’s where things get tricky: I have these remote sensors scattered throughout the house, and I want to assign them to their respective locations (like the kitchen or backyard). However, I can’t figure out how to do this. They all seem to default to the living room, which isn’t super helpful. Is there a way to assign these sensors to their actual locations, or am I stuck with them all being in the living room?
I’ve scoured the documentation and forums, but I haven’t found a clear solution yet. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a workaround that someone else has discovered. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
On a more positive note, I’ve been really impressed with how seamless most of the setup has been. The integration with Home Assistant has been smooth, and the weather data it provides is incredibly useful. It’s just these little hiccups that keep me coming back to the forums for help. Thanks in advance for any insights you can share!
