Hi everyone, I recently got myself an IKEA Tradfri driver and a couple of switches. The setup with Zigbee2MQTT has been working great so far, and I can control my lights through Home Assistant. However, I’ve been thinking about how to make this system work even when my HA is offline.
I’ve paired the Tradfri switch with the driver, but when I tried to use it independently, the driver lost its connection to the HA network. This is a bit of a setback because I’d love to have the flexibility to control the lights both through HA and manually with the switch.
Has anyone successfully configured their Zigbee devices to work offline without losing their HA connection? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! I’m really curious to hear how others have tackled this. Thanks in advance for your help!
