Connecting a Used Hue Bloom Lamp to a New Bridge

Hey everyone, I recently came across a fantastic deal on a second-hand Hue Bloom Table Lamp, and I couldn’t resist bringing it home. However, when I tried to connect it to my existing Hue Bridge, I ran into a bit of a snag. The lamp wasn’t being picked up by the bridge, and I read that this is often because the lamp is still tied to its previous setup. I decided to give the connection process another shot, using the 6-digit serial number method described in the Hue app. But here’s the catch—the serial number on my Bloom was longer than 6 digits, which threw me off a bit.

I did some quick research and found that resetting the Hue Bloom might be the solution. But how exactly do I go about doing that? I’ve heard that some Hue devices can be reset by holding down the button for a certain amount of time, but I’m not entirely sure if that applies to the Bloom. Does anyone have any experience with resetting a Hue Bloom lamp? Or perhaps there’s another method to connect it to my bridge without having to reset it?

I’d really appreciate any tips or advice you all might have. I’m excited to get this lamp up and running, and I’m sure it’ll add a lovely touch to my home setup. Thanks in advance for your help! :star2:
