Controlling m2 airconditioner from m3

I have an air conditioner in the bedroom where I have the M2 Hub.
The M3 hub is in the living room controlling several devices.
Is it possible to create an air conditioner entity on the M3 hub that will be controlled by the Child device M2 hub
I want to be able to do this as the M3 hub Air Conditioner entity shows in Home Assistant as a device that it can control, if I use the M2 hub and add the air conditioner it is not visible in Home Assistant.

Hi @berniparrett , if you add an air conditioner through M3 and it is in another room, then M2 will not be able to control it because in order to control the air conditioner, it must be in direct line of sight of M3.

Thanks for the reply
Yes I understand that and was suspecting it could not work
I was hoping I could somehow push the request to the M2 Hub to use that IR blaster for the job

@berniparrett You can create automated scenes for air conditioning control on the M2, then utilize Aqara’s Advanced Matter Bridging feature to sync these scenes to Home Assistant. Eventually, a virtual “plug” device will appear in Home Assistant. By controlling this plug, you can achieve air conditioning control. You may refer to this link for guidance:
