I installed a Thermostat Hub W200 about 2 weeks ago, connected to a ClimateMaster water-source heat pump, continuous building provided hot and cold water. Cooling worked correctly for about 12 days.
Two days ago, a firmware update was applied to the device. Since then, cooling no longer works — the fan runs normally when I set the thermostat to Cool, but the compressor doesn’t engage and no cold air is produced. Heating still works fine. My firmware version is: 4.5.49_0002.

Hi there.did you have try to restore the device by eliminating it from aqara app and add ut back? or first try turning off the power to your house let it for 1 min off and turning it back on as the w200 being an power device you can’t turn it off without cutting the power so this way the device can self healing properly.sometimes not many times after an update is better to do an reboot as sometimes this can fix small bugs.
I have turned circuit breaker off a couple of times just to see. This did not help.
Then next steep is to contact aqara support because if all this fails the only help you can get is from aqara support.

I hope aqara support will give you the solution or my be a replacement of the device.this kind of things that you experience are rare to happen but sometimes it does when comes with electronic devices.
Go to Dropdown Settings > Device Test > Start Cool Test to check if the air conditioner cools normally. If cooling fails, first inspect whether the Y wire connection is loose; reinsert it firmly if possible. If the issue persists, upload your device logs so my team can review the underlying data.
I might have reproduced this issue as described. I have two W200 and only one showed the problem.
A little bit after updating to 4.5.49, my system would enter cooling but not start the compressor. Only the fan system. After tracing through the issue today, it’s working.
I first confirmed no issue with the outdoor compressor (it would start with manual relay) and the wire itself is good.
The error cleared either when I power cycled the breaker to multimeter the wires or after I removed the Aqara to manually connect Rc and Y. That worked so I put the Aqara back and it’s functioning normally now. Unfortunately, I did not capture photos of the wiring or before.
I have home assistant logs of circuit usage so I can show when the fan activated but cooling did not.
I’ve uploaded system logs for that device. My Aqara account email matches the email for this forum account.
