Cube scene control: how do you confirm which scene actually ran?

A Cube T1 Pro owner describes using it for two scenes and several devices: Cube T1 Pro - Automatizations HAOS + Aqara APP - #3 by coccolino_26

For a shared room, what feedback tells someone which scene their gesture selected, especially when the lights were already at the requested setting? I would consider a brief, optional cue on a nearby light or display, but would want it to follow confirmed device state rather than merely the gesture being received.

If you use a Cube this way, do you provide feedback, and how do you handle a scene where only some devices respond? I have not tested this setup; I am interested in practical patterns that stay understandable without opening the app.

Well i suppose you can add an notificación to each automation of each part of the cube to notify you witch when an scene or automation is triggered with the cube didn’t try it but i will and see how it works but is not really necessary if you know what each part of the cube does being set by you.

By the way i made 2 scenes “Good Morning” and “Good Night” each control more or less seme devices.

Good Morning trigger:

-2 Meross Smart roller shutter belt to rise my blinds and turn On my tv.

Good Night trigger:

-2 Meross Smart roller shutter belt to lower my blinds and turn On the Meross LED strip

All this are made tru apple home app but also works on Aqara home app as I try them too.

on the 3/4 parts of the cube I have my Aqara curtain motor E1 to open and close my curtain

On the 5th side of the cube I have set to turn Off my tv is I go out

The rest of the sides and automations that Aqara provide on Aqara home app i do no use then for now as the Aqara cube T1 pro have more then the normal version of the cube.

I telling you this for reference and kind of feedback of my usage since you love to open threads instead of reply to one you already mention.

Fair point about keeping the discussion in your original thread; I should have asked there. Your Good Morning/Good Night example makes the device behavior a useful cue already. If you try a notification, I would distinguish “gesture received” from “all requested devices reached their target,” since a notification action alone would not establish the second.

Well I didn’t set notifications when each scene is triggered but I can set on apple home app to notify me when the blinds are open or closed but personally I do not need that since i only have 2.about the other thread i didn’t open it I just answer to the person who asked about some automations with this magic cube.ether way someone with an bigger house could do even more with it but in my case I am using the cube when I do not feel to talk with Siri :rofl::rofl: to run those scenes
