Curtain driver problems

I have 2 curtain driver E1. Both have no reaction to commands from mobile app. I can reset and add them to aqara app again - it help for about one week, then it stops working again. I did it 6 times with same result.

One with 0.0.0_3127 and second with 0.0.0_2727 firmware. Both of them showing “Your firmware is up to date”. They are connected to m1s gen2. Zigbee signal = Good. Other devices connected to this hub have no problems.

@music It’s frustrating to hear that you’re experiencing this issue with your Curtain Driver E1 devices. Since the firmware is showing as up to date and the Zigbee signal is good, and other devices on the hub are working fine, it’s a bit of a tricky problem.

Here are some things you can try based on the common problems and solutions:

  • Check if the hub’s “anti-accidental delete” feature is enabled. It’s possible that this feature is causing the local button (and potentially the overall connection) to be unresponsive. Please try disabling this feature in the app and then attempt to interact with the curtain drivers again. This might be related to the unresponsiveness you’re seeing .
  • Although the firmware shows as up to date, you can try restarting the M1S Gen2 hub to see if that makes any difference. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve communication glitches .
  • Ensure that the curtain drivers are properly clasped in place (the drive wheel is completely tightened on the track). A loose connection could cause intermittent issues with receiving commands .
  • Check whether there is any foreign object or substance on the curtain track. This could interfere with the movement of the curtain drivers and potentially affect their communication with the app .

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be a good idea to reach out to customer service for more in-depth troubleshooting. Please contact Customer Service Team by Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) or scanning the QR code:

@music I’m sorry to hear about the recurring issue with your Curtain Driver E1 devices—having to reset and re-add them weekly sounds really frustrating. From the reference information we have, the FAQs for Curtain Driver E1 cover initial connection steps and reset methods, but they don’t specifically address the problem of devices stopping responding after a week . Since your hub (M1S Gen2) is working well with other devices and the Zigbee signal is good, it’s a bit tricky to pinpoint the cause with the current information.

Maybe other community members have encountered similar situations—feel free to share more details (like your app version, hub firmware, or any recent changes to your setup) to see if someone has insights. For a more tailored solution, I’d recommend reaching out to the Customer Service Team through the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) or by clicking here to create a ticket. They can help dig deeper into this issue.

Thanks for sharing your experience—your feedback helps the community and us improve!

Same issue on my side, sometime the desynch is only for a couple of days. Fw is 0003127 , and I have tried to link the driver from a M3 or a magicpad SP1, same results.
