Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with customizing scene buttons in Home Assistant. I’ve been using scenes to automate various routines around my home, like setting up a movie night or preparing for bedtime. However, I noticed that the default button text, “ACTIVATE,” felt a bit generic and didn’t quite match the vibe I was going for.
I decided to dive into the settings to see if I could personalize these buttons. After a bit of research, I found that it’s actually pretty straightforward to change the button text to something more descriptive or even in my native language. For example, I changed my bedtime scene button to “Goodnight” and my morning routine button to “Wake Up.”
This small tweak has made my interface feel more intuitive and tailored to my needs. It’s those little personal touches that really make a smart home feel like your own. I’d love to hear how others have customized their scenes or if anyone has tips for making the interface even more user-friendly!
