Why are there so few choices for cities for the location of a home? Where I am the closest one listed is 110 miles away.

United States. Iowa. I am in a small town in the NW part of the state and Sioux City is the closest city listed. It’s approximately 110 miles from me.
Are you referring to the “Home Location” setting, as well as the location-related options that appear when using automations and weather-based features?
At present, the available regions are limited because our weather-related features rely on data provided by a third-party weather service. The region coverage of this service is not fully comprehensive. Switching to a different or more extensive weather service may cause compatibility issues with existing features, so there is currently no plan to make changes.
As a temporary solution, we recommend selecting a city that is geographically close to your actual location. If you need to request support for a specific city or region, you may contact our customer support team via “Help & Feedback”. Please note that, in most cases, the region can only be mapped to a nearby city, which may not fully reflect the exact local conditions.
