Data logs automatically deleted?

I’m having trouble accessing data logs from sensors. When I try to look back in the app, the data just stops displaying after a month or a year. What happens to that data? Can I download it from somewhere?
I’m trying to compare the performance of the winter heat automations that have kept my basement and shed above freezing for the past two winters.

@GregoryHouse It sounds like you’re looking to dive into historical sensor data for analyzing your winter heat automations—great for fine-tuning those setups! Let me share what I know based on common inquiries:

First, regarding accessing data logs: Currently, you can view event logs for your sensors by selecting the device tile on the Aqara Home app’s homepage, which will display recorded events. However, when it comes to downloading or extracting this data (like saving logs for long-term comparison), there isn’t a built-in feature in the app to export sensor data at this time.

As for why data stops displaying after a certain period (a month or a year), the provided information doesn’t specify details about data retention periods for logs. For clarity on how long historical data is stored and whether there are workarounds to access older records, it’s best to reach out to the support team.

Contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Profile> Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:

This will be more efficient. If you do not have an Aqara Home account, “Please click here” to create a ticket.

Hope this helps with your automation analysis—let us know how it goes once you connect with support!
