Delay of the two-way switch control automation

Please improve the delay of the two-way switch control automation, because 1second is not acceptable. The wireless button automation works faster!

Hello, welcome to the forum.
What switch are you talking about? What is the connection Zigbee or Thread? Give more information. If you use automation, show a screenshot.

And additionally the light switch will respond slower in multi function mode because it needs time to decide whether you stopped clicking it. It doesn’t know if you’re in the middle of double click or just did a single click until it waits a second and knows for sure what was your intent.

If it’s too long for you then consider using single-press mode, which is much faster (sends the signal immediately after detecting the press), but you don’t get to have double press and long press

Hello, there is one more feature. If in the automation for a smart lamp in the THEN condition in the first place is “set brightness (for example) 80%”, then we will get a delay. I could not understand for a long time why so, from the phone instantly in from the button longer. When I selected the first position THEN “On lamp”, and then the lighting level…, everything worked instantly😀

I am talking about the default two-way control automation provided by Aqara, it is not a custom automation. I am using Zigbee. The top buttons don’t support double or long press, so it makes no sense to wait for it. It should inmediate.
