Hi everyone, I’ve been using neo coolcam zwave door sensors for my security setup, and recently I noticed that one of them stopped responding. It’s concerning because I don’t use that door often, and it might go unnoticed for a while if this happens again. I’m wondering if there’s a way for Homey to check if the door sensor is still active on the network.
I’ve tried checking the device status in the Homey app, but it doesn’t provide detailed information about the sensor’s connectivity. Maybe there’s a way to set up a rule or script that periodically verifies if the sensor is reporting data. I’ve heard that some users use network tools to monitor device activity, but I’m not sure how to implement that with Homey.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution? I’d greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to ensure my door sensors remain reliable and how to detect if one goes offline. Thanks in advance for your help!
