Dimmer Lights Flickering while 'OFF'

Hey everyone, I’ve been experiencing this weird issue with my dimmer lights, and I’m hoping someone might have some insight or a fix. Let me start by describing what’s happening.

I have a Linear Dimmer light switch in my living room that controls five LED lights. Over the past week, I’ve noticed that even when the lights are completely off, they seem to flicker very slightly. It’s almost like they’re at the lowest brightness setting, but they shouldn’t be on at all! The flickering isn’t visible when the lights are on, which is a bit confusing. My dog, on the other hand, seems to react to the flickering when we turn the lights on and off, which makes me wonder if there’s some underlying issue causing this behavior.

I’ve tried a few things to troubleshoot the problem. First, I checked if there were any firmware updates for the dimmer switch, but it seems to be up to date. I also tested the LEDs one by one to see if it’s a specific bulb causing the issue, but the flickering persists regardless of which bulb is connected. I even reset the dimmer switch to its factory settings, but that didn’t help either.

I’m starting to think this might be a compatibility issue between the dimmer switch and the LED bulbs. I’ve heard that some LED lights can be more sensitive to voltage fluctuations, even when they’re supposed to be off. Maybe there’s a small amount of residual voltage causing the flickering. I’m not entirely sure, though, since I don’t have a multimeter to measure the voltage.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with their dimmer switches or LED lights? I’d love to hear if there are any solutions or workarounds out there. In the meantime, I’ll keep experimenting with different settings and maybe try swapping out the bulbs for a different brand to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions you might have!
