Hi everyone, I’ve been exploring ways to make my lighting setup smarter without compromising on the variety of bulbs I use. I’ve equipped most of my lights with dimmable LED bulbs (230V~), but I’m still missing the right dimmer module. I came across some discussions about using Zigbee or Z-Wave dimmers, but I’m not sure if they’d work seamlessly with my current setup. Has anyone successfully integrated a dimmer module near the ceiling cable without switching to a full smart lighting system like Hue? I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips you might have. 
Another topic I’ve been curious about is the integration of Xiaomi Miio lights. I’ve had some issues where the lights stop responding, and resetting them hasn’t been straightforward. If anyone has dealt with similar problems, I’d appreciate any advice or workarounds you’ve discovered. It’s frustrating when the lights just disappear from the app, but I’m hopeful there’s a solution out there. 
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with Vera Alerts and creating dummy users for testing. The requirement to use an email address is a bit of a hurdle since I don’t want to risk using an existing or future email. I wonder if there’s a way to bypass this or use a placeholder that’s guaranteed to be unique. Any insights would be super helpful! Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.
