I recently set up an automation in my kitchen where the lights turn on when motion is detected and then turn off after a minute of no motion. I love that the brightness is set to 100% when I walk in, but I noticed that if I manually dim the lights, they reset back to 100% when motion is detected again. That’s a bit frustrating because I sometimes want to keep the lights dimmer for a more relaxed atmosphere. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’d love to know if there’s a way to make the dimmer settings stick even after motion is detected again. It would be great to have more control over the lighting without it resetting every time someone walks by.
