Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some advice regarding my Wyze cameras. I’ve been using them for a while now, and they’ve been working great for the most part. However, there’s one issue that’s been bugging me, and I’m hoping someone here can help me figure it out.
The problem is with the automatic video capturing feature. Even though I’ve disabled motion detection and set the cameras to be off during weekends, whenever I go to check the playback, it’s filled with videos of slight movements. It’s a bit overwhelming, and I’d really prefer not to have these constant recordings unless absolutely necessary.
I’ve tried a few things to resolve this. I’ve turned off motion detection entirely, and I’ve also disabled the SD card recording feature. However, the issue still persists. It seems like the cameras are still capturing videos automatically, regardless of the settings I’ve adjusted.
I’m hoping there’s a way to completely disable this automatic playback feature without having to physically remove the SD card every time. It would be great if there was a setting or a workaround that allows me to control this more effectively.
