I wanted to share a fantastic DIY project I recently completed! 
A few weeks ago, I decided to automate my outdoor lighting to change colors based on specific events. My goal was to display UT colors for the Cotton Bowl game, and I’m thrilled to say it worked perfectly! 
Here’s how I did it:1. Setup: I used Govee lights for their flexibility and vibrant colors. I programmed them to change to orange and white using simple DIY scripts. The setup was surprisingly straightforward, and the results were stunning! My neighbors even stopped by to admire the setup.2. Infrared Heating: Speaking of automation, I’ve also been working on a custom infrared heating solution. It’s been a learning experience, but I’ve managed to integrate it seamlessly with my smart home system. The best part? It automatically adjusts based on room occupancy and outside temperatures, ensuring comfort without any manual intervention.If you’re thinking about DIY projects or custom automation, I highly recommend starting small and gradually building up.
