As a new member of the community, I wanted to share my recent DIY project with you all. Inspired by the Denmark flag 
, I decided to create a custom flag using materials I had at home. It was a fun way to add some personality to my space while learning a bit more about DIY projects.
The Process
I started by gathering materials: a piece of fabric, some thread, and a sewing machine. I sketched out the design based on the Denmark flag, making sure the proportions were accurate. The challenge was getting the colors just right, but I managed to find the perfect shades of red and white.
After cutting out the fabric, I sewed the pieces together, carefully hemming the edges to ensure it would last. I added a pole sleeve at the top for easy hanging. The final touch was attaching a small Denmark flag charm to the corner for a bit of flair.
The Outcome
The flag turned out better than I expected! It’s now hanging in my living room, and I get compliments on it every time someone visits. It’s a simple project, but it really adds a nice touch to the room.
