Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick DIY project I did recently to improve the lighting in my home. I had some leftover 19" LED foam sticks from Christmas, and I thought, why not give them a new life? I decided to try using them as a diffuser for my light strips. Here’s what I did:
I cut the foam sticks in half and used double-sided sticky tape to attach them over my light strips. It was a bit of trial and error, but it actually worked out pretty well! I used about 5 and a half of them, and the effect is subtle but effective. I’ve added a couple of photos and a short video to show you the setup. It’s not perfect, but it does the job for now!
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips to improve this DIY solution. Maybe there’s a better material or technique out there. Let me know your thoughts!
