Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a fun project I worked on over the weekend. I’ve always been a fan of DIY electronics and smart home projects, so when I came across the Night Light Series 2 from Our Groceries, I knew I had to give it a try! 
The project was all about creating a beautiful Rainbow Ring Night Light. It’s super simple but looks absolutely stunning, especially when viewed from above. I used some basic materials and followed the instructions from the Our Groceries integration guide. The best part? It’s fully integrated with my Home Assistant setup, so I can control it right from my phone! 
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:- Materials: RGB LED strip, acrylic ring, adhesive tape, and a bit of glue.- Setup: I connected the LED strip to my existing smart home hub and programmed it using the Our Groceries app.- Result: A mesmerizing rainbow light that changes colors based on my daily schedule. It’s now my favorite way to wake up in the morning! 
This project was a great way to dip my toes into DIY smart home projects. It’s affordable, easy to follow, and the end result is something I’m genuinely proud of. Plus, it’s been a hit with my roommates—they love how it adds a fun touch to our space.
