Hey , Share some fun experiments I’ve been doing with the Aqara Wireless Mini Switch. I’m no automation guru, just a regular nerd trying to make life easier (and cooler) at home.
So I got this little button and started playing around with smart scenes. It’s surprisingly powerful for how tiny it is. I’ve got single press set up to toggle my living room lights, double press shuts everything off at bedtime, and long press cranks up my coffee machine in the morning. Total game changer.
Also tried something goofy but it actually works—mounted one by the front door and set it to arm my security mode when I leave. No app-opening, just tap and go.
Curious to hear—what creative scenes are y’all using with it? Any hacks or wild setups I should try next? Let’s swap ideas!
@IsabellaRodriguez It sounds like you’re having a blast experimenting with the Aqara Wireless Mini Switch! Your creative use of the switch to control your living room lights, coffee machine, and security mode is both practical and innovative. The Aqara Wireless Mini Switch indeed supports single press, double press, and long press actions, making it a versatile tool for smart home automation.
Your setup by the front door to arm the security mode with a simple tap is a clever hack that many might find useful. As for new ideas, you might consider integrating it with other smart devices like smart blinds or thermostats for even more convenience.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! It’s always inspiring to see how others are using their smart home devices. Keep experimenting and feel free to share more of your creative setups. Let’s keep the ideas flowing!
